Training Topic: Forensic Epidemiology
Goal of Training: To enhance the joint effectiveness of law enforcement and public health when both disciplines conduct concurrent investigations in response to a threat or attack involving possible biological weapons.
Who Should Attend? This training is geared toward those who would take part in the investigation of a criminally motivated public health threat. Epidemiologists, health officers, public health nurses, sheriff and police investigators, medical examiners, coroners, bioterrorism coordinators, and public health microbiologists are encouraged to attend.
