Helpful Information for Every Day

Kara Davis, RN, MICN

Hi! I'm Kara Davis. Some of you may know me and some may not. I was born and raised in the big city of Fresno but closer to the small town of Clovis. I graduated from Fresno State with my BSN in 1986. Before that I was a paramedic in Fresno County after attending Stanford Prehospital Care Program. As a kid I was always mesmerized by my aunt’s stories of being a nurse. She graduated from nursing school in 1936 so she certainly had some tales to tell. I moved to Chico in 1990, shortly after the Loma Prieta Earthquake and I’ve worked at Enloe Medical Center for the past twenty-one years in the emergency department. My hobbies include reading, cooking, working in my garden and house projects. I currently have two cats, two dogs, and two bunnies. My daughter, Alexandra, is studying psychology at San Bernardino State.

I am sharing information with you that I think is important and pertinent. Please take time to read the articles.

It hardly made any sense that... More...
