Trauma Activation

All hospitals, ambulance services, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies in the Nor-Cal EMS region are part of the same trauma system.

All hospitals, ambulance services, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies in the Nor-Cal EMS region are part of the same trauma system. Any prehospital provider (law, fire, EMS) that responds to a trauma patient has an important role in identifying the trauma patient and activating a trauma alert through communication with the hospital.
