Unhealthy Conditions

Trinity County Air Quality Alert
Issued July 12, 2012

For the following areas:

Trinity County: Del Loma, Big Bar, Big Flat, Helena, Junction City, Weaverville, and all areas close to the wildfires.

Smoke Levels in these areas has been classified as Unhealthy. Smoke in these areas is creating a health hazard.

People are recommended to limit any outdoor activity.

Symptoms that may be related to excess smoke exposure include:

  • repeated coughing
  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • wheezing
  • chest tightness or pain
  • palpitations
  • nausea or unusual fatigue
  • lightheadedness

If you have any of the symptoms listed above, contact your health care provider immediately.
